Since 1996 I have specialized exclusively in working with Obsessive Compulsive Spectrum Disorders of all types. In those decades I have treated hundreds of people with OCD and trained over a thousand professionals in over 100 cities across the USA. Perhaps more importantly, I am in recovery from very serious OCD myself. I know first-hand what a horrific struggle OCD can be. I also know first-hand that it is possible to recover our lives, our serenity and joy in living. The journey is not an easy one and requires specialized skills and the right types of encouragement that few counselors who have not experienced OCD can conceptualize.
